Description

An original 1st press of '69 on the UK CBS label. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. The original copies are worth holding out for - they are pressed on lovely solid vinyl. The vinyl comes housed in original mono E J Day cover - stickered as 'stereo'. Also included is the original CBS advertising inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Visual and Audible checks infer that this Lp has seen only light use. There are a couple of light marks per side, and a radial light mark in the openings moments at the start of track 1 [S1]. I've tested it thoroughly  - it plays through with a couple of pops and ticks... that's all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. By and large a really solid player. A lovely clean player by and large - great energy and verve. The only issues really are the couple of pops at the start of side 1 [mentioned above]. There are a couple of more in the first track on side 2. Providing you can live with those deviations - the rest of the LP will thoroughly impress.
Cover (Vg+) A clean and uncreased front cover. The rear exhibits a bit of ageing - but not too bad. Edge wear is mostly light. The spine is 50/50 with a  bit of ageing and wear. Don't expect to be able to make out all the text. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Bit of ageing, but no splits.
