Description
After releasing three great singles between 1979 and 1981, Sire records put this Irish power pop trio into the studio with Todd Rundgren to record their debut album, “That’s What Friends are For.” It was a great power pop LP with Rundgren keeping all the rough edges like he did with his production of the NY Dolls LP, but Sire ended up releasing the album in Germany only and original pressings are as rare as rocking horse droppings. The group split, but in the late 80s pressed the album themselves and added a few extra tracks, including both sides of their debut single for Good Vibrationsm “Ya Don’t Do Ya” and “She’s Nineteen” as well as “Talking in the Canteen,” their 1980 single produced by Nick Garvey of the Motors. This copy – in M- condition – is the group pressed version.
