Description
Very nice copy of this Morrissey rarity.
one-sided 7" containing an out-take of the song I Know Very Well How I Got My Name, which was originally the b-side to Morrissey's classic debut solo single: Suedehead.
This is very different to the released version, featuring a live with Morrissey on vocals and Vinni Reilly on nylon acoustic guitar; the guitar being more intricate, played in an almost flamenco finger-picking style. Once the two verses have been sung, Vinni plays a bad note on the guitar and the two men break out into laughter, ending the song.
This is a very collectible item as it was never officially released, only being made available with initial copies of the Durutti's Column album: Vinni Reilly.
A must-have piece for any serious fan/collector of Morrissey/The Smiths.
There is only one other copy of this record available on Ebay, but the seller is asking around £170.
