Description
Most of the vocal works of Finzi on two Lyrita lps, and one each of Hyperion & L'oiseau Lyre.
Those two Lyrita's are especially nice as SRCS.38 with one of the sets of song cycles is a flipback stereo pressing (they are all stereo) and 51 is 1st laminated sleeve from 1971, and are just that bit more scarce. They both have John Caroll Case singing on them, a Finzi specialist. The L'oiseau is the Choral songs. The Hyperion has a couple of other song cycles not featured on the other lps, and is a celebration of Finzi & Friends on the 25th anniversary of his passing, so also features songs by Harry Gill, Ivor Gurney, Ernest Farrar, & Robin Milford.
1st German pressing of a Near mint record in a mint minus sleeve (these nearly always crease). Plays fully near mint, heard throughout.
When we post this to you, it will be housed in a new poly outer - we also pack in hard card custom made new boxes.
