This is an original US vinyl pressing on Verve V6-5045  from 1967.    This is the stereo pressing of their third album.    This has the original mix.   In the song 'Who Needs The Peace Corps' they sing "I will love the police as they kick the shit out of me on the street". 

This album cover is a parady of The Beatles 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album.      Inside the gatefold is the parady of the front cover and the back cover with the lyrics.   The front cover is kind of like the inside of Sgt Peppers'.     It also comes with a sheet of cut outs like Sgt Pepper's.    

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG /  Record is M-

The gatefold cover is VG with no writing and no seam splits.   There is light ring wear and overall cover wear.    There is seam wear.    The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a Verve inner sleeve.    The sheet of cut outs is near mint.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 11 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 27 ounces ( 1 pound, 11 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
