This 1966 release on the Verve label # 10458 from cool and legendary Mothers of Invention with both sides of this 45 written, arranged and conducted by the man himself, Frank Zappa. Please note the important facts about the condition of this vinyl press 45. It is as pictured a stock release with the "Trouble Comin' Every Day" side as playing VG+ and the other side, "Who Are The Brain Police?" playing nosier and thus I will grade at VG condition.
Although it seems to have little or no impact on play of this 45, it does appear that this 45 has either a stress crack not affecting play, or a crack that someone has repaired so that it now appears as a stress crack that is not the most obvious to spot unless one is carefully examining the vinyl on this 45. As a result of what I have described and as accurately as I can think of, I have opened up the bidding way lower than what I think this 45 is worth as it is listed in the new Rockin Records book at $400 to $500. I have bought rare soul 45's that is more of what I personally like to collect and that were cracked all the way through but still able to play because I just wanted the 45 that badly. Despite the appearance of this hairline stress crack, this 45 does play very well and as I have graded above, VG+ for the Trouble Comin side, and VG for the Brain Police side.
The labels still have much shine and are relatively clean as you can see, but there is a BB hole in the 45 as is clearly shown in the label photo's. Don't let this sucker get away! This 45 belongs in your collection. US buyers can email me if you need a call to hear how this 45 plays.
