Motown GOLD RECORD Three Times a Lady Commodores 1978
This is an absolutely incredible find - an original, authentic BPI GOLD RECORD for The Commodores 1978 hit "Three Times a Lady" presented to Motown Record Corporation! Gold 45rpm record is in perfect, mint condition and is mounted/displayed on red velvet background along with a 4' x 4 1/2" brass plaque which the following inscription "Certified BPI Sales Award Presented to Motown Record Corporation To recognise the sale, in the United Kingdom, of more than 500,000 copies of the Motown Single Playing Record 'THREE TIMES A LADY' 1978". Presented in a gold metal frame that measures 10 1/4" x 14 1/4" - no glass and some minor scuffs/scratches to frame edge.
"Three Times a Lady" was from The Commodores 1978 album Natural High. It was produced by James Anthony Carmichael and the Commodores (Walter Orange, William King, J.D. Nicholas, Lionel Richie, Thomas McClary, Ronald LaPread, Milan Williams, Sheldon Reynolds, Harold Hudson and Skyler Jett) and it was the most popular track of the album.
Needless to say, only one of these stunning Gold Records are available - once gone, it's gone for good!
