Description
A 10-inch, 78RPM vinyl record by Muddy Waters on Aristocrat Records, released in 1948, catalog number 1305. It contains the songs "I Can't Be Satisfied" (the hit single) and "I Feel Like Going Home". This was one of his earliest recordings for the label, which later became Chess Records. In 1943 Muddy Waters moved north to Chicago and played in clubs, but the city crowds were so noisy he had to get an electric guitar. Three years later, the record companies were sniffing around and Muddy signed with Aristocrat; two years after that, in 1948, he hit it big with “I Can't Be Satisfied". Extremely rare, record still shows some luster on vinyl, Some surface marks and light scratches and small chip to edge. Plays through, no skips. Typical record recording quality from 1948 on this shellac disk from the great and legendary Muddy Waters. A real find.
