Estate find.
Original 1958 stereo issue, black & gold label, deep groove, plain paper inner sleeve.
When Contemporary Records first began issuing stereo LPs in 1958 they created a separate label & called it Stereo Records In Association with Contemporary Records. They soon stopped this procedure & all titles originally issued on Stereo Records were eventually reissued on Contemporary Records. The audiophile qualities of the Stereo Records pressings are superior to any later pressings.
Barney Kessel in several small group settings with solos by Jimmy Rowles, Ted Nash & Shelly Manne.
Record is EX+ to MINT-: VERY SHINY & CLEAN with just a couple barely visible superficial inaudible visual only scuff marks which don't affect play. Virtually no spindle wear. Plays Great!!!
Cover is VG+: minor edge, corner & ring wear; otherwise clean & sturdy. No splits.
