FOR PERSONAL REASONS, I AM LOWERING THE PRICES ON ALL MY VINYL AND AUCTIONS - SOME FAR BELOW COMPETITIVE.
THIS 2-RECORD 1973 GATEFOLDLP ALBUM IS STILL SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAP & NEVER OPENED. THE VINYL WILL BE BRAND NEW WHEN PLAYED BY THE NEW OWNER.
IT IS ENTITLED "ERIC DOLPHY - COPENHAGEN CONCERT" AND WAS PRODUCED ON THE PRESTIGE RECORD LABEL NUMBERED 24027. - "ERIC DOLPHY'S TOUR OF EUROPE IS ONE OF THE BEST DOCUMENTED PERIODS OF HIS MUCH-TOO-SHORT LIFE AND CAREER. HE LEFT BEHIND QUITE A LEGACY."
ERIC DOLPHY WAS A WORLD-FAMOUS JAZZ SPECIALIST LIKE NO OTHER. MANY OF HIS ALBUMS ARE VERY PRICEY, AND I AM TOLD THE MUSIC IS NOTHING LESS THAN AWESOME. - I ALWAYS TEST PLAY ALL MY ALBUMS, OF COURSE, I AM NOT GOING TO BE THE ONE OPENS THE SEALED ALBUM AFTER ALL THESE DECADES. THAT LUXURY WILL GO TO THE NEW OWNER.
THIS CAME FROM A HUGE PRESTIGOUS RECORD COLLECTION OF A CELEBRITY WHO WISHED TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS. HE ALWAYS PLAYED ONE ALBUM AND HAD A SPARE THAT WAS USUALLY FACTORY SEALED SUCH AS THIS ONE. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET A FEW COPIES FROM HIS VAST COLLECTION.
THE SHRINK WRAP IS SLIGHTLY TORN IN A COUPLE OF PLACES AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS, BUT STILL VERY MUCH IN TACT. IT PROTECTED THE ALBUM COVER BEAUTIFULLY OVER THE DECADES. NEEDLESS TO SAY, GETTING A FACTORY-SEALED COPY OF THIS ISSUE IS ULTRA-RARE.
I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHOW JUST HOW NICE THE CONDITION IS OF ALL MY RECORD ALBUMS AND VINYL. AS SUCH, I HAVE POSTED AS MANY PHOTOS AS I COULD THAT ARE INDICATIVE OF THE ALBUM COVERS, LABELS (WHEN LP IS OPENED), THE VINYL (WHEN LP IS OPENED), ETC. YOU CAN SEE THE EXCELLENT CONDITION OF THE ENTIRE PACKAGE AS IT EXISTS. OF COURSE, THE DOUBLE LP IS SEALED, AND PHOTOS OF THE ALBUM ARE INCLUDED WITH THE RECORDS STILL INSIDE THAT HAVE NEVER SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY. - SEE PHOTOS.
