Released on March 10, 1981, this is the seventh original album, a concept masterpiece inspired by Ul De Rico’s picture book. Featuring 14 tracks with contributions from Murakami “Ponta” Shuichi, Kobayashi Izumi, and others, it blends tropical fusion, boogie, and reggae vibes. Highlights include the drum-break opener B2 “Soon,” the lively B4 “Rainbow Paradise,” the dreamy C2 “Rising Arch,” and the vocoder-infused C3 “Just Chuckle.” Takanaka’s iconic guitar work and mythical storytelling make this LP a collector’s gem.
