NARNIA • Aslan is not a tame lion ’74 UK LP ORIGINAL, on MYRRH Label Cat. MYR 1007
Rare original 1974 UK stereo release on the independent Christian Myrrh label, catalogue no. MYR 1007, matrix nos. MYR 1007 A 1; MYR 1007 B 1 – very few originally pressed. Melodic UK Xian folk progressive band featuring Pauline Filby (vocals), John Russell (lead & acoustic guitars, recorder, vocals), Tim Hatwell (bass, acoustic guitars), Peter Banks (keyboard, acoustic guitar), Kenneth ‘Ginger’ Dixon (drums, percussion, vocals). Tracks, Side 1: You’d Better Believe It, Muddy Ground, The Juggler, Agapé; Side 2: To a Fountain, Miracle of Birth, In The Forest, Boogie for Narnia, Living Water.
The disc is clean and shiny. Side 1 has a faint "smudge" mark and 3 light ticks on track 4. Side 2 has 3 light but noticeable 1cm scratches, these are mainly inaudible and there are only 5 random ticks on the side. The matt sleeve is intact but rather grubby with scuffed edges/corners and record impress.
