Description
Nathan Milstein- Bach- Sonatas And Partitas 3 LP box, FDS, Capitol Records, PCR 8370. 1957. Matrix stamp (side 1) "P1-8370-D1".
SIGNED AND DATED BY THE ARTIST!! (see photos). The signature has faded a bit due to the glossy/slick cover but is quite visible and legible (dated 1976)
Very nice copy of this highly collectible and sought after set.
As stated above the vinyl is clean and glossy with no spindle wear. Looks to have been rarely played. Averaged out, the vinyl condition is VG+, full description below.
Detailed grading:
Side 1: NM, just a touch of sleeve-burn.
Side 2: VG+, a few very light and faint hairlines but plays very nicely, just a bit of occasional light ticking and some surface noise.
Side 3: VG a few very small radial scratches at the beginning. Still clean and glossy but and plays with 2 louder ticks at he beginning of track 2 and about 6 ticks on the intro to track 3 and about 4 mid-way through (track 3).
Side 4: VG+, 2 light hairlines.
Side 5: NM, light sleeve burn.
Side 6: VG+, a few light hairlines and light sleeve-burn
