Description
Mega rare, near mint condition (whilst the record itself is possibly unplayed the sleeve has very minor creasing across the bottom corners) UK, 1972, original vinyl album with beautiful, textured picture sleeve entitled "A Symphony Of Amaranths" which has been autographed on the back by the late Neil Ardley himself (see scan) on the Regal Zonophone Record Label, SLRZ 1028 (Stereo). This legendary album features the cream of British Jazz musicians playing at the time including Don Rendell, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Barbara Thompson, Harry Beckett, Henry Lowther, Derek Wadsworth, Stan Tracey, Karl Jenkins, Jeff Clyne, Jon Hiseman, Norma Winstone and many others including Neil himself. The album is autographed by Neil in blue felt tip across the rear opening and makes the album definitely one for the serious collector. A brilliant example of British Jazz at it's best and I don't think that you will find a better copy of the album anywhere - DO NOT MISS THIS CHANCE.
