1st US pressing with poster-sized 20.25" x 22.75" lyric sheet!
First pressings can be identified as follows:- the sleeve credits only Nils Lofgren on piano
- original tan Reprise label without "WEA" logo along the edge of the label - the labels have 31,009 on side 1 and 31,010 on side 2. The versions without any "RE" are supposedly the earliest, but that remains uncertain.
- "RE1" and the Artisan symbol (drumsticks coming out of a circle) etched in the runout groove of both sides.
-VINYL (PLAY TESTED): flat / very little surface noise, mostly audible on the outer rim & dead wax / a couple small, fine, faint scratches (NO skipping) / some scuffs, smudges and other mild signs of handling and storage
-COVER: mild to moderate wear / very nice inside the gatefold / 1" split at one corner of the open end
- INNER SLEEVE: original Reprise artist roster/brass band sleeve / clean / center splits on three sides, one nearly end to end / a small tear on the open end
- POSTER: mild signs of handling / never mounted, always kept in the sleeve
