Sireena Records again releases a vinyl jewel by the british progrock legend NEKTAR. 'Remember The Future' was originally released in 1973 and for many fans it always has been the masterpiece of NEKTAR. Like their other albums, Nektar's 'Remember The Future' consists of exemplary craft and musicianship combined with enthusiasm. They are masters of the extended composition, never drifting off at a tangent. Basically a thirty-five minute piece, it has an intelligent blend of fast and slow, loud and quiet, vocal and instrumental, shifting between passages without jarring. They seem to have had great faith in the material, having toured it before recording it. The most impressive moments occur deep into part two, when Roye Albrighton produces a lovely solo during a Floyd-like passage. This limited version of 'Remember The Future' comes in 180 gram heavy-weight vinyl and includes a reproduced Promo 7' Single with two radio versions. For the very first time!
Nach 'Sounds Like This' (Sireena 4003) veröffentlicht Sireena Records mit 'Remember The Future' ein weiteres Juwel auf Vinyl der britischen Progrock Legende. Für viele Fans ist 'Remember The Future' das Meisterwerk der Briten. Der Titelsong erstreckt sich über beide LP-Seiten und strotzt nur so vor Abwechselung und Kurzweiligkeit. Die Band hatte den Titel bereits live gespielt bevor sie ins Studio gingen, um ihn aufzunehmen. Besonders Gitarrist Roye Albrighton spielt hier sein ganzen Können aus. Aber auch der Rest ist prima drauf, und so entstand 1973 eines der besten Progrock Alben überhaupt. Wir veröffentlichen dieses Album wie immer auf 180 Grramm schwerem Vinyl. Diese limitierte Auflage enthält zudem als Bonus eine reproduzierte Vinyl-Single, die damals für die Promotion benutzt wurde und nie im Handel erschienen ist.
