Oh, my WORD --- TEN STARS!!! This collection is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! Whoever collected these works was a consumer-satisfaction genius... they definitely found the cream of the crop in Hawaiian music!! I was absolutely delighted and captivated with how richly musical and satisfyingly melodic these ultra-remarkable productions were... so many other artists' arrangements of Hawaiian melodies sound so "thin" or "colorless" to me, but these fabulous renditions were totally satisfying in every way (and I am very hard to please when it comes to the quality of musical performances, so if I feel happy with some music, you can be 100% confident that it's pretty good)... they seemed to totally "do justice" to the works, while also contributing a kindly dedicated --- and almost playful --- overtone that consciously strives to bring out the soul-revitalizing qualities that an American audiophile craves when he chooses to listen to Hawaiian music! Each melody weaves a colorful tapestry of soothing mind-calming sound that just gently lifts you up and wafts you away to Hawaii's summery paradise... listening to these songs and their accompanying tropical sounds (recordings of exotic birds, etc.), one can almost experience the swaying rustling palm trees and lovely white-sand beaches and sweet pineapples, and feel the wonderful warm company of the friendly natives. And check out the serenely dulcet-throated Hawaiian singer Lotus Blossom's absolutely breathtaking performances in about half a dozen of the songs --- her ultra-clear gentle refreshingly-sweet soprano voice just mesmerizes and takes the audience to a whole new level in listening pleasure! Highly, HIGHLY recommended!
