SEALED Vinyl 6 LP box set. Atlantic Records 7 81817-1. Mono & Stereo. COVER: strong VG++ still sealed, saw cut in corner. VINYL: MINT still sealed, never played.
Tracks principally recorded in New York, New York and Los Angeles, California between 1951 and 1985.
Once upon a time (roughly the early 50s), in a faraway land (Manhattan), there lived a group of singers, piano players, and other musicians and a fascinated audience that crowded into dozens of little clubs to hear them sing and play some of the best songs ever written. Most of them are gone now, but the music lives on in this six-record boxed set that gathers the work of Mel Tormé, Bobby Short, Mabel Mercer, Sylvia Sims, Billy Taylor, and many other great nightclub performers. ~ William Ruhlmann.

I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBAY. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.
