Description
Going through my ‘put aside’ vinyl and came across this totally forgotten-about copy. With the pink rim Island label it is a 1970 pressing first with STEREO on the label: runouts are ILPS 9134 A 1U and ILPS 9134 B 2U.
Cover is rubbed at the spine and edges, has come slightly unglued at the bottom and you can see the imprint of LP where stored. The words ‘California copy’ are handwritten top-right on the back – I don’t know the significance of this, if any.
However I’ve cleaned the record and the vinyl itself is in excellent condition – just a hazy mark across tracks 1 and 2, side 2, maybe thumbnail mark. Doesn’t affect playback – my husband would be happy to play it on his system and he is well fussy!
From a smoke-free home, will be posted in LP packaging.
