NICK DRAKE: FIVE LEAVES LEFT

Original copy of the first Nick Drake album. A classic album that is absolutely indispensable

The Cover is in a very nice VG+++ condition, close to EX with a little wear to the seams but no splits or tears  

The vinyl is solid EX with a crystal clear sound, very good fidelity and to these ears still better than the new remastered box set (which is also had a great sound - but not as good as the original). However side 1 unfortunately has a scratch covering half of the Time Has Told Me and half of River Man, making soft clicks in the left channel, alos 4-5 low clicks on Three Hours so this side is more VG+, but besides this the vinyl plays great.

GRADING

There is nothing more irritating than buying an LP which is overgraded (about half of the LPs I have bought via Ebay has been overgraded.) so I try to grade as accurate as possible both visual and (mostly) audible and describe any flaws on the record. I grade under a 100W light bulb or sunlight. For playgrading I use my Gyro Deck turntable fitted with a Benz Micro MC pick up. If there is any dissatisfaction with any LP there is off course a moneyback warranty.

M-: Perfect copy, the copy that looks like it was bought yesterday and only have been played a few times.

EX: This has been played but still a very satisfying copy that would please most collectors. No scratches or coverwear, LP plays without any problem, as good as perfect in fact many dealers M- is what I would call EX       

VG++: This copy has been played and cover has some wear but still a very good copy that should satisfy most people except the MINT puritans

VG+: This is a played copy, plays with some clicks and background noise. But still the music should be the central part. Cover has ring wear but still not a torn cover or anything.

VG: This is a more used copy with some scratches and clicks, no stops or skips though, cover has heavy wear.
