Notes: Nick Drake (vocals, acoustic guitar, piano); Richard Thompson (electric guitar); Clare Lowther (cello); Paul Harris (piano); Tristan Fry (vibraphone, drums); Danny Thompson (bass); Rocki Dzidzornu (congas). Nick Drake's debut album encapsulates a marriage between folk music and the singer-songwriter genre. He articulated an aching romanticism at a time when progressive rock ran rampant. Beautiful melodies and fragrant accompaniment....... An aura of existential cool envelops the proceedings, accentuated by Danny Thompson's sonorous bass lines and Drake's poetic imagery. The result is a shimmering, autumnal collection, reflective but never morbid. It's a tragedy that Drake never lived to see how his stature has grown.

Condition of Vinyl:- Remarkable condition...........no marks or surface wear.........no signs of play at all
The labels have no signs of wear at all , no spindle use evident
Outstanding sound quality throughout this wonderful album
As I have played the album , I have Graded Visually and Aurally at Strict MINT minus condition
Condition of Sleeve:- EJ Day manufacture
Front: Some storage wear is evident to the front of the sleeve, with a little 'rubbing' near top and bottom
Rear: Light wear only , no rubs
Spine: Very light wear to the spine , all print bright and clear
Edges/Corners: Some wear evident , nothing serious
The Sleeve is Carefully Graded at least VERY GOOD condition
Complete with correct polylined Liner Sleeve

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................
I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
