UK 1st pressing on rough textured Pink Island ‘block logo’ ILPS 9105 from 1969.

 

Nick’s first and best LP.

This record exists with 2 different labels:

1.     Rough textured

2.     Smooth

The record with smooth labels is really hard to find but much rarer is this version with rough textured labels.

And only this is the genuine first pressing.

Matrix Side 1: ILPS+9105+A1 machine stamped

Matrix Side 2: ILPS+9105+B1 machine stamped

 

So this LP very seldom turns up for sale.

Condition: 

Record  plays through without jumps or sticks.

There are 2 blemishes which you can see on the pictures.

I can hear a brief whoosh when the music is quiet.

The record has many hairlines and little background noise and brief whooshing 

can be heard in quiet passages.

I've also detected 2 scratches which cause some clicks.

But there are no jumps or sticks, record plays through.

I grade the record VG-.
