Description
Red label 2 LP original that comes with an additional 45 RPM. The super thin and flimsy gatefold is a VG-/G++. It has bends and creases but no splits. It's way too thin to house the two heavy pieces of vinyl, so the bending is inevitable. The LPs look a very nice EX(+), but of course it's Eastern Europe in the 70s, so expect your usual ticks and pops taking it down to a VG+. As well, LP 2 has a small bit of "wobble" on rotation, though it's not apparent visually as to why. "Quality control" just wasn't a thing for Communists!
My notes: "The 2 LP Idee Fixe represents the culmination of all Niemen had accomplished to date. You'll hear elements of Strange is This World through to Katharsis. It's bluesy, it's prog, it's electronic, and it's everything in between. All original material, but it works as a great compilation or sampler as well. A good place to start if curious about Niemen."

USA: $4 (for ANY SIZE order - $4 is the flat rate- we don't mind subsidizing the postage if you buy a lot!). Please wait for invoice if purchasing more than 1 LP. It's easier that way.
Canada: $13 for one LP
Rest of World: $23 for one LP
Canada and Rest of World: For orders larger than 1 LP: We will quote you on order. We will only charge what the USPS charges us, rounded up to the nearest dollar.
All shipping (US and Global) includes tracking!
Packaging: We are experienced mail order veterans. We know how to ship LP's. Vinyl will be removed from sleeve, corners secured, nothing will be moving around, etc.... All items should arrive at your destination in the same condition it leaves here.
Mint: Basically means NEW, unplayed, barely touched. NM (Near Mint): Pretty much perfect in every way. Vinyl may have been played a few times at most, with an audiophile turntable. EX+: Almost NM, but may have a few minor imperfections which will be noted. EX: Shows minor wear. It’s obviously been owned - but taken very good care of. EX-: A bit more wear than an EX. Vinyl looks played often, but still in great shape with little to no noise. VG+: Cover or record has obvious wear. Record may contain background noise depending on quality of pressing. Cover has flaws that we’ll detail. VG and below..... Continuing along the same path as what you see above.
Sometimes we'll use additional (+) or (-) which is a half distance between the grades.
In many years of buying, selling and trading, this is definitely the hardest part of the hobby to master. Hopefully you’ll agree that we grade fairly. We try to anyway. It's all pretty nuanced, and definitely an art - not a science!
