Nihilist is the ultra-legendary band that transformed into the mighty Entombed. They were the first 100% Death Metal band to come from Sweden. They pioneered the infamous Swedish Death Metal sound that exploded onto the scene in the early 90s with bands like Unleashed, Grave, Dismember and of course Entombed. Nihilist was created in 1987 by restless teenagers Nicke Andersson (later in Hellacopters and Deathbreath), Alex Hellid (Entombed), and Leif Cuzner. Their music was super-charged with brutality and high quality riffs courtesy of Andersson. Also within their ranks was Johnny Hedlund (later of Unleashed) and L.G. Petrov (Entombed). Together with Bathory, and the Entombed, Nihilist is without question the most influential of all Swedish metal bands.
This is their complete discography which includes all their demos on one 12" vinyl and the first Entombed demo "But Life Goes On" as a bonus 7" vinyl.
