Description
Nirvana - Bleach LP. Australian Green Vinyl pressing on Waterfront Records. Special tour edition lp. Released in 1992.
Released to tie in with Nirvana's tour of Australia in 1992.
Comes with very rare cloth outer sleeve outlining tour dates and poster.
Limited to 500 copies. Cat No: DAMP114.
Condition: Vinyl - the record is in mint minus condition. I have played it through today before listing and it plays superbly. Virtually as new.
Cloth Sleeve: The cloth sleeve is in superb condition. It has the titles on the front along with "1992 Australian Tour Edition". The rear of the cloth sleeve contains the track listing, tour dates, Waterfront label and wording to denote that it is limited to 500 copies.
Poster : The poster is in excellent condition. It has been folded to fit into the album cover. There is some very minor creasing in the corners and on part of the edge. However, it does not show any signs of being put on a wall and has probably been kept in the lp cover since release. It is in virtually new / shop bought condition. The poster measures 41cm x 60cm.
LP Sleeve: The front of the lp picture cover comes in green with silver titles. The rear of the sleeve is silver with green titles. The outer edge of the record has made an impression into the front and rear of the sleeve.
The sleeve has a 2cm spine split along the centre of the left hand spine but does not interfere with the titles which are still clear towards the top of the spine. There are minor bumps in each of the corners. The bottom edge is in excellent condition. The top edge has a 2cm spine split. There is some creasing and folding in the top right hand corner of the sleeve. I would imagine that this has been caused by trying to insert the cover into the cloth sleeve. However, there are no tears to the cover.
I have tried to clearly describe the cover accurately as possible. The picture cover is not in mint condition but it is still in very presentable condition.
Overall comments: I apologise if I am preaching to the converted but this is a very rare Nirvana record and I have only ever seen 2 copies of this on Ebay with the cloth sleeve and poster. It appears much less frequently than the other Waterfront pressings and certainly less so than their debut 7" "Love Buzz". I am very reluctant to sell this but wish to fund other rare vinyl purchases.
