NIRVANA Pentecost Hotel (Festival) Australia 1967.
Here's an Ultra RARE!! Original Australian 60s LP Pressing of NIRVANA Pentecost Hotel. I bought this LP over a year ago and have now collected the relevent 45's off the album so it's time to move it on to a new home.
This was a Unique Aussie version of "Simon Simopath", re-badged Pentecost Hotel, using the rear sleeve as the front. This is a first pressing and it's a promo, they did 2 in this Australia, the original on Festival and the repress on Calendar. The labels call it "Pentecost Hotel", but it's just "Nirvana" on the spine & featuring "Pentecost Hotel" on the front.
Condition : The Cover I'd consider as excellent, the laminate is clean and not much is wrong with the cover except for a small amount but noticable ring wear on the back. Please see images provided.
The Vinyl is clean and has amazing shine to it. Plays loud and proud like an early heavy gauge festival pressing does. My feeling owning both the German original of "Simon Simopath" (which I sold here a few months ago) that the Australian Pressing is the better out of the two....to my ears anyway !
It's an extremely difficult album to find especially in this condition so don't miss out and bid !!
