Please read everything carefully below so you know exactly the rarity you are buying.

Super low numbered A0311355 Original 1968 U.S. Scranton first pressing of The Beatles 'White Album'. This is the rare and highly sought after pressing containing all 7 rare label errors. Upon release of the album, John Lennon noticed these mistakes and had them corrected immediately on future pressings, but not before some of these extremely rare error copies had already entered the marketplace. The cover is NM STUNNING front, inside and back. NO seam splits showing, NO writing, NO stickers or glue residue, NO rips/tears, NO pen/marker marks, and a MINT inner spine !!

The records are excellent+ and very glossy with just a few very minor visual scuffs that do not affect play and understandably so now at 52 years old, as this is one of the Earliest White Albums know to exist today. Labels are absolutely *MINT* stunning with NO writing, NO tears and NO fading. The inner spine is MINT PRISTINE perfect. There are NO seam splits and NO writing. NO WRITING on any of the record labels, and NO WRITING on the front cover, back or inside gatefold. The Original inner sleeves (No cut-out label center) are beautiful, and it will arrive with all 4 color *PRISTINE MINT* heavy stock portrait photos and EX Original poster and lyrics with NO tears and NO pin holes. A machine stamped triangle with the initials IAM indicates that the record was pressed at the Scranton, Pennsylvania plant. 'IAM' stood for the International Association of Machinists union whose members worked at the Scranton plant.

Few White Albums are perfect, but this one is as close to Mint as you'll see. The cardboard used in the making of The White Album was extremely poor and susceptible to the seams easily separating and the spines just disintegrating. Most of you who look to buy these treasures know that 99% of White Albums in circulation are weak at best. This is your chance to purchase one of the nicest, as the cover is NM which is so very rare to find, some 52 years later.

Here's very invaluable information on how The Beatles White Albums were numbered, and the meaning behind all the sequences...

The first 25 White Albums were numbered with an “A” prefix and then a series of zeros preceding the number (e.g. A0000009). There are always seven digits following the “A” so if it was a single digit number it would be preceded by six zeroes or if it was a two digit number it would be preceded by five zeroes. It is not known what the “A” was indicative of (it may mean “printed in America” or “Apple” but neither is confirmed).

Numbers 26-99 were three digit numbers preceded with a zero and no prefix.

Numbers 100 through approximately 209,999 were preceded with the correct number of zeroes to make them a seven digit number (with no letter prefix)

Beginning around 210,000 to up near 590,000, they were preceded by a zero and had an 'A' prefix.

Later copies up to about 1,350,000 remain at seven digits using a leading zero if necessary and are prefixed with a large dot.

The next batch from 1,350,000 up to some point past 2,000,000 are prefixed with an “A” but it's a thinner “A” than used earlier.

From 2,000,000 to around 2,250,000 some are prefixed with a large dot and some with the “A.”

From 2,250,000 up to 3,000,000 the numbers are prefixed with the abbreviation for number (i.e. “No.”). On some of these the “o” in “No.” is raised with the period below it instead of beside it.

For the final numbers over 3,000,000 the numbers are prefixed with a wide “A"
