Truly historic, collectible and important record. Vinyl like this is as much an investment as it is an enjoyment.
No cut out, no punch out, no cut corner, no writing, no names, no funkiness, no stains, no smell, and nothing else worth mentioning.
Cover: With this many pics, I do not grade covers. Look at the pics and decide for yourself. I can say colors are right, and the shrink is tight. There are no scratches or marks on the cover, the generic original vintage inner was split and has been replaced. Original stereo compatible sticker on front. Ring wear is visible on back cover and there is some debris and dirt on the shrink. Outer cover is not not perfect but close given all vintage records will show some use and age after 40+ years. Small rip in shrink in upper left corner and sticker residue. Spine is perfect, corners are good but not perfect. This is an LP that looks MUCH better on the inside than the outside, still amazing in shrink after all this time and it has protected LP inside VERY WELL.
Vinyl:
NM- No spindle wear, no audible scratches or pops. Very glossy, flat and round. Not handled or played often. Sounds great, NO scratches or scuffs were visible under bright light. No visible signs of being played. Not opened or handled much, if at all. 100% clean spindle!
No promo stamp I could find, but appears to be a first press of this LP.
Condition is subjective, please spend a moment or two to zoom in and decide for yourself if this is a record you wish to invest in. To truly enjoy this record get an original copy, original mix and in a condition that does not compromise the sonics and provides full range sound. Get a copy, like this, that you can actually listen to at a rockin' volume.
None of my records have been machine cleaned, I prefer not to do so. All may benefit from such a clean, I just prefer to use light brushing to clean my LP's.
