Under The Sun is the finest of the post ‘Ian Carr’s Nucleus’, Nucleus release. The compositions are so inventive and challenging, fusing all the good things that a blend of jazz and rock can and should provide. There are no histrionics, no long tedious solos, just great group interplay peppered with timely, fair and not overly long individual contributions from everyone involved. Check out Sutton's "New Life" with it's tempo shift mid way through, and just listen to the talent that STILL is Bryan Spring on drums.

This is the original, first pressing, Vertigo LP from 1974 and is the hardest of the 'spaceship' (post spiral) nucleus vertigo albums to find classic jazz progressive LP.
Sleeve condition: This has suffered a bit from careless removal of a sticker to the top right. The leading edge is also a bit wavy and it looks as though the very absorbent, non-laminated sleeve has got damp at one time. There is a mild undulating to the sleeve as a result. Not a huge problem but it is there is you look closely.
Record condition: an absolutely, stonking, Mint! It really does look unplayed. However, I have played it and it is flawless! You couldn’t find a better copy!
