Description
In 1978, Natural Impulse a northern soul band from Richmond, California ( Just north of Oakland) release their first single. A DJ from Oakland took the 45 to the United Kingdom where it became an underground hit. In the mid 2000's Soul Junction recorded contracted the rights to re issue the record and it has had fantastic sales. This is an original copy. This record was found today while cleaning out an old safe. The record is in fair condition with some minimal scratches on the B side with "She when away". I played it on a friends turntable and the record played well on Side B which has "She Went Away". No skips occurred. On the A side we played it three times because there is a smudge in the middle of the tracks. The record skipped intermittently at the smudge mark. Out of three attempts to play it, it played completely through 1 of 3 times. The new owner might know how to clean the record so that the smudge is removed. We are trying to be a transparent as possible with this sale. Good luck in bidding and happy holidays.
The 45 will come with a letter of authenticity signed by Rick Ramos Natural Impulse Band leader from 1973 to 1978. This rare record has sold on ebay for as high as $2800 USD over the past few years. This is the last known copy of the record and there are none left from this source.
