Description

Neil Young     "Harvest"

This is a US vinyl private pressing on Solo Music R 233 from around 1972.      This was his fourth solo album.       It has exactly the same songs as the legitimate Reprise Records pressing.       The labels are white with black printing.      It comes in a single pocket cover, with a red, white, and blue drawing and the artist and album title at top center.      There were other artists that had one of their albums issued by this company with the same drawing on the front cover.          The back cover lists the song titles and has their address : Solo Music Corp,  P.O. Box 17006, Salt Lake City, Utah.

I bought this 20 years ago in a used record store and have never seen another copy.     I do not understand how this company got the rights to press this record.    The matrix numbers are hand etched :  Side 1 : R-233-A   and Side 2 : R-233-B.

The songs are : Out On The Weekend, Harvest, A Man Needs A Maid, Heart Of Gold, Are You Ready For The Country, Old Man, There's A Word, Alabama, The Needle And The Damage Done, and Words.

I have my Neil Young 7" singles on Discogs at Fragilerecords.              I will sell my Neil Young CD's next week on Ebay

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG /  Record is M-

The cover is VG with no writing and no seam splits.        There is light ring wear and handling stains around the edges.      The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint, with light handling marks.       The labels are clean with no spindle marks.       The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

About Me :
