This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an impact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

WONDERFUL EARLY PRESSING HERE

Lovely dull shine and as flat as the day she was born.

There are only faint, light marks which had very little to zero effect on playback...She played with clean and clear audio throughout both sides...With incredibly dynamic bass with beautiful all-round audio. VERY occasionally (inbetween tracks) I noticed some faint, soft and light backgound crackle-nothing offensive what-so-ever as they are so infrequent...More noticeable on the run-out.

(These are getting a lot harder to find due to how delicate they are).

This one has a split all down one side (could be glued) and a small one to the other side, with a faint number to one side...see if you can spot it in the images provided..?

The front cover is still lovely and strong, as is the back cover and the inner picture is as vibrant today as it was when born in '67..

Only a handful of small crescents of spidering near the opening and a few fingers of spidering emanating from the seams to the front and back...REALLY NICE!!

The back top right corner has a line of spidering to the laminate, along a couple of lines to the bottom left corner..

The back panel has a few light lines of spidering near the opening but nothing terrible at all.

The inner picture is lovely and clean and still opens with a crackle, as well as not opening flat-showing the strength of the spine!

I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible, so bid with confidence.

TO ADD TO IT'S CONDITION-IT IS THE REALLY QUITE RARE "PATENTS PENDING" COPY!! ONLY A VERY FEW OF THESE WERE PRINTED AS THE VERY FIRST PRINTING OF THIS ICONIC ALBUM COVER, UNTIL THE PATENTS WERE GRANTED

--MAKING THIS VERY COLLECTABLE INDEED--

NO SPLITS/TEARS OR WRITING

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A SOLID BUT USED COPY OF AN ALBUM WHICH CHANGED THE FACE OF ROCK N ROLL.
