New Order ORIG OZ LP Power corruption & lies NM ’83 Factory FACT75 Joy Division
Original OZ LP released in 1983 on factory Records. Cat: FACT75. Comes with original printed thin cardboard inner bga which has a light crease mark on bottom right corner and is in VG++ condition.A great leap forward from their understandably funereal debut album, Power, Corruption & Lies cemented New Order's place as the most exciting dance-rock hybrid in music (and it didn't even include the massive "Blue Monday" single, released earlier that year). Confident and invigorating where Movement had sounded disconsolate and lost, the record simply pops with energy from the start.
Tracks : Age of consent/ We all stand/ The village/ 5 8 6/ Your silent face/ Ultraviolence/ Ecstasy/ Leave me alone. There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Gloss cover has minor scuffing on corners and a light crease mark on bottom left corner and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
