Description

What is special about this particular LP is that it plays back virtually perfectly.  It is the 'cleanest' LP playback that I've experienced among thousands of LPs played.  The LP playing surfaces have been professionally cleaned using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine with dedicated vinyl wash fluid, vacuumed dry and de-static'd.  This special limited edition number is 0006102.   There are two technical game-changers for LPs:  One is being produced DIRECT-TO-DISC which skips the "master and subsequent generation tapes" steps before pressing.  The other game changer is running at 45 revolutions per minute.  This specimen runs at 33-1/3 RPM but has the profound advantage of being Direct-to-disc.  Another contribution to this LP's quiet running is that they used RCA's patented DGB-1066A vinyl compound, "a special low-noise, long-wearing vinyl..."  AND IT PERFORMS AS ADVERTISED.   If you want to hear music as if it were/was/is live, this is the LP to try.  Don't let the Very Good (or better) Album cover condition put you off; here it is all about the LP music reproduction.  Also included is a mini-album/music review written by "JAH".  By the way, I have played a lot of LPs new out of the sleeve that have "issues".  I rate this LP as MINT-PLUS, that is, better than the ordinary Mint Condition. n.b.  I weighed this LP and it comes in at 140 grams for what that is worth.
