Up for sale:
   Nick Drake "Fruit Tree".
   This is the original 1986 4 LP Box Set (with Booklet) from Hannibal Records Ltd.
   I purchased this amazing set brand new when it was first released.

The LP's are:
   1.) "Five Leaves Left"
   2.) "Bryter Layter"
   3.) "Pink Moon"
   4.) "Time Of No Reply">*This is a 14 track collection including 10 previously unreleased recordings.
                                              This rare LP was not included in the later 3 LP box sets.

The box cover photo wraps around the 4 sides of the box lid.
On the left side the cover wrap extends, continuing around and affixing to the box bottom -
sealing the box lid and box bottom together on that side.
In order for the box lid to be removed from the box bottom, the seal would have to be broken.
The seal on this set is unbroken. (See close-up of unbroken seal in photo below.)
I have always been very careful about not only keeping my records in pristine condition,
but their jackets (or in this case box) as well. Because of this, I wanted to listen to the records once
to enjoy and make sure they weren't defective - but at the same time I wanted to keep the box seal unbroken.
I did this by carefully lifting the right side of the box lid just enough to slide the sleeves out.
I listened to the records once, and then returned them to the box exactly as they were - keeping the seal intact.
The box set was then placed in a sturdy clear plastic outer sleeve (included),
and has been properly / vertically stored in our smoke-free home ever since - for 25 years!

Condition:
*Note: I hesitate to call anything "Dead Mint".

Outer Box: M- (mint minus) > Looks brand new!

Vinyl: All four LP's are M- (mint minus) > Played only once on a quality turntable.

Individual Inner Sleeves: It is my understanding that the sleeves were mistakenly manufactured slightly
                                      larger than the box. Because of this, the sleeves are somewhat wavy with
                                      wrinkles in places. This is common with these sets. But this is the
                                      condition they came in, and these are as good as they come.
                                     *Note: Each LP sleeve has its original album front/back cover photo/art/graphics.

Booklet: M- (mint minus) > Large 16 page booklet is in beautiful unread condition.

This highly sought after original box set is long OOP (out of print).
You would be hard pressed to find one in better condition.
This is truly a stunning copy!
