Description
1969 Island Records stereo LP in unlaminated gatefold sleeve and generic polythene-lined white paper inner sleeve, cat no ILPS-9105. This is a first pressing with the pink Island 'eye' label (complete with Joe Boyd Witchseason Productions logo), and a slight ridge to the outer edge of the label. The track listing on the back cover reverses the order of the last two tracks on Side One, 'Day Is Done' is followed by 'Way To Blue', on the label these they are listed in the correct order. The Island Records Basing Street address features on the back cover.

Condition
Vinyl: I sat down and played this lovely album through once again, listening very intensely for faults. It is not a pristine copy, rather a well-played one that has been looked after. It has not been professionaly cleaned since I aquired it in 1979. Side One has some light crackle and the occasional one-revolution light click or pop. No jumps or scratches. Light playing wear, with no significant deterioration in sound quality - my grade would be EX(-). Side Two has slightly more crackle, clicks and pops, and there is a two-revolution click at the end the second track. Still no major deterioration in sound quality, and what faults there are do not significantly detract from the listening experience in my opinion. The grade here is EX-. The vinyl is lightly marked, and has hairlines which do not sound during playing. The vinyl still has quite a nice sheen. There are spindle marks on both sides, the labels are otherwise unmarked.
Sleeve: There is wear to the spine, although the script is still discernable. The cover shows some light edge wear, there is a scratch to the front bottom right corner, and a light moisture stain to the back cover bottom right corner (both of these are visible in the pictures). There is general light wear, and light fading/rubbing, with the green on the front cover showing the worst of this. There is some fading/rubbing to the upper edge of the inside of the gatefold. Grade VG(+).
