Description

An original copy of Nick Drake's debut album Five Leaves Left. It's the first issue with the pink Island label and the solid block 'i' logo and is from my own collection. Apparently the address of Island Records Limited at Basing Street in London, as shown on the sleeve, also shows it is a first issue. The gatefold cover has a few marks, light creases and scuffs on the front (see photo) but nothing to worry about and not surprising ,considering its age.The vinyl itself retains a good gloss with minimal feint hairlines and marks but nothing which affects the playing which,other than some background surface noise but no jumps or skips, is still strong, bright and brilliant. Matrix Side 1....ILPS 9105 A//2............................Matrix Side 2....ILPS 9105 B//2 Please note that this has not been professionally cleaned, I'll leave that to the wining bidder.
