Label Conditions: Near Mint. Absolutely immaculate with no writing, marks or fading. No signs of any spindle traces suggest that this LP has made only a handful of well handled trips to the turntable.

Cover Grade and Format: EX. Lovely gatefold sleeve that has survived extremely well

Cover Front: EX (+) The front has retained its vivid green colouration with no signs of ringwear of significant rubbing. One or two small creases which do not break the print at the spine edge, which is more than usual for gatefold sleeves.

Cover Back: VG (+) Again, no signs of any ringwear or scuffing. No marks or writing and no creases whatsoever. Only the removal mark of a small label prevents this cover from being graded as a very strong EX.

Top Edge: Only the slightest hint of wear beginning to show. No splitting.

Bottom Edge: Virtually perfect

Opening Edges: Showing the very first signs of feathering, but not creased or damaged.

Spine and Text: Spine is perfectly square and true with clear legible text. Ends of the two slight creases showing.

Corners: All square and true with no bashes or bends.

Inner sleeve: EX - Original Island light blue polylined inner. The lining has helped to maintain the LP in beautiful condition described in the following.

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: Mint (-). No scratches or hairline marks to report. Only a single surface mark on side A prevents this being graded as Mint. The mark is completely inaudible and is only visible when held to a strong light source. The mark runs across Track 4 and side B is flawless

Album Played For Grading: Yes.

Sound Quality and Audio Grading: Plays beautifully. The initial surface noise at the beginning of the run-in track disappears before the guitar even starts. There is no noise to speak of between tracks and this is vital with such a fragile recording such as some of the tracks contained here. Even my 180g reissue is not as quiet as this one.

Postage: All LPs are sent in dedicated LP mailers and not cheap Jiffy envelopes as some people insist on using for reasons unknown. I include 2 cardboard stiffeners and all inner sleeves are removed to prevent potential splits to the outer sleeve when in transit. Rates are as follows:

Grading: I try to play test all of my LPs for sale on a Michell Gyro and Clearaudio Maestro cartridge. I grade to the well established Record Collector grading system.

Mint (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G): I wouldn't dare sell LPs this bad.
