Norah Jones Come Away with Me Classic Records 200 gram audiophile vinyl LP. Gatefold jacket. The right hand lower corner is slightly bent (please see photo). The pictures are part of the description. Please look at them carefully. Play tested. I've only played this record 3 times since I bought it new in 2002.
I played it yesterday. It sounded amazing! through my Magnepan Magneplanar speakers, using my 2018 Pioneer direct drive turntable, fitted with an audio-technica low out put moving coil cartridge (less than 100 hours of use). Norah's voice sounds like she is right there in the room with you, very natural, very clear, very realistic, not a hint of sibilance or any other sonic artifacts. It was obviously extremely well recorded by Blue Note records. The music sounds awesome, with a lot of separation between instruments that present a very nice sound stage. I did hear one or two pops on side B. I attribute it to static electricity, not to a flaw on the vinyl surface. That's because side B looks immaculate under a bright light, while holding the record at a 45 degree angle. Side A does show several small superficial marks. Likely from putting the record in and taking it out of its sleeve, or from being handled at the pressing plant. That's why I graded this record as excellent, not Near Mint (NM or M-). I always play a record side all the way through. I never lift the stylus while it's making contact with the groove surface.
I cleaned the record with my VPI Cyclone (wash and vacuum clean) using Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Super Record Wash. I clean the records I'm selling like I were cleaning them for myself: very meticulously. I placed the record inside a brand new inner sleeve. The new re-sealable jacket outer sleeves that I have are too small to fit a gatefold jacket. So, I put it back in the Japanese Mylar re-sealable jacket outer sleeve I had kept it for all these years. I've kept all my spare records in specially designed and made record plastic storage boxes, on an industrial shelf rack, in a spare bedroom for the last 30+ years.
