A Couple of years before the Twisted Wheel club ever opened it's doors, there was a Teen Club called the Soc Hop in Overland Park, Kansas where mostly white kids danced their socks off to mostly live R & B music till the way hours into the morning. One such artist that played there on Saturday nights, was the local Little Jimmy Griffin. Not much is known about him today anywhere else in the world, but he is a legend in the greater Kansas City area. Here is a very rare 1963 record of the R & B singer doing his own material.  The A-side will still fill any dance floor today and the flip-side demonstrates how well he could do da' Blues! Vary Rare and obscure!
