Description
The Off-Beats on Guyden 2101, Have Love, Will Travel b/w Doodlum. This is a scarce white label disk jockey promo copy. Plain white sleeve in decent condition.
Vinyl plays excellently. No noticeable clicks or pops, no skips. Label is clean with no sign of wear.
I've been collecting for 40 years, so am very particular about condition. Record looks VG+ to me because it has sleeve scuffs - I think your run of the mill seller would try to pass it as M-, a grade I reserve for records that are sealed or known to me to be unplayed.
Grading records, even by published guidelines, is at best an art and at worst a way for lowlifes to sell their crap as "looks great to me" and then follow that up by not allowing returns.
If you wonder what a record graded VG+ by me sounds like, I can email you on request (I don't have hosting) an mp3 that I made of Have Love (roughly 2.5 MB) - it was made from the record for sale in this listing, played on a Technics SL-1700 Mk II with Shure V15HR-P cart to my sound card via Audacity - it is unmolested and sounds better than any I've heard online. My return policy is return it if you don't like it - just send it back but please return the same one I mail you.
