Description
Vintage classic psych rock lp: THE DOORS - self-titled debut - Elektra EKL 4007, mono, gold labels with big E; Elektra inner sleeve; the first MONARCH pressing with error labels ["(Weill-Brecht) Witmark (ASCAP)" publishing credit on Side One label for Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar) [no "Harm"]; "Break On Through (To The Other Side)" is misprinted on the label as "Break On Through (To The OHER Side)"]; not a first - "The End" has a scream, not a swear, but second pressing, first by Monarch; released in 1967.
Condition is G+/VG (vinyl has moderate to heavy scuffing, some marks that I can feel, plays VG overall with some background and some areas of ticks; inner sleeve is heavyweight paper and has two seam splits; jacket has moderate cover wear with ringwear and wrinkles, similar back cover; no seam splits; spine is readable with no splits).
