Description
This is a STILL SEALED ORIGINAL 1964 IMPULSE RECORDS U.S. STEREO LP titled 'More Blues And The Abstract Truth' from modern jazz arranger / composer Oliver Nelson, who is presiding over a stellar group. It is Impulse Records U.S. catalog number A-75, gatefold cover, STILL SEALED in its original factory shrinkwrap.
This copy of 'More Blues And the Abstract Truth' bears a 'STEREO' inscription on the cover and spine, but also bears the MONO catalog number A-75 -- From what I have seen on eBay in past listings of this LP with this cover inscription and catalog number this combination would indicate a 1964 first stereo pressing of this LP, with orange and white 1960s-era Impulse labels. Catalog number shown on the record labels should be the correct AS-75, but obviously as this album is STILL SEALED I have no way to confirm this. A first pressing is also borne out by the thick brown cardboard construction of the album cover.

This LP is STILL SEALED in its original factory shrinkwrap, so the record is in 100% pristine condition. I need to grade the cover of this LP as VG+ even though it is still sealed, as there is a 1-1/2" worn area along the top edge of the front gatefold. Album lies perfectly flat on both sides with no indication of any bends or warps. This SEALED LP would be a choice addition to any modern jazz record collection!
