OMD: ELECTRICITY 1979 (Peter Saville sleeve)
Bids are invited on this rare and iconic first pressing of OMD's Electricity.
This is the original Factory Records pressing, catalog number FAC6.  The sleeve was designed by the legendary Peter Saville (best known for his work with Joy Division) and features an embossed design on matte black card. 
Only 5,000 of these were ever pressed. The single was rereleased on Dindisc with a much less attractive cover. 
This copy is in overall excellent clean condition for a 35 year old disc. It has been looked after and the vinyl plays well.  There is some minor creasing to the sleeve, being picky, and a split along the right hand edge of approximately 4cms. 
The vinyl itself is really excellent. The labels have some rubbing to each side. I have taken pictures of both. 
All in all a nicely preserved copy of this rare little 1979 single.
