This week's auction feature a number of local Birmingham, AL 45s fresh from a long sequestered collection including a super rare "one of" audiodisc rockabilly doo wop tune. Be sure to give them all a listen. Always happy to combine shipping. ~ David

Here's why it's a good idea to listen to audiodiscs when you find them in collections. This was grouped with the Reed records I have for auction this week. Not sure of the artist but could be local artists Jerry and Johnny. I have googled the lyrics and haven't found a match so I assume these are previously unknown and unrecorded songs. The A side is a catchy rocker "Love, Love Me Baby" about 1:50 seconds long. There is a skip at one minute which I have edited out. Audiodisc grooves are VERY close together. Side B is a teener ballad "Sally". Sound quality is typical of an audiodisc, a little fuzzy but grooves are very clean and surface is stable. No writing on either side of the label. Own a rare piece of Alabama rock and roll history.
