Here is a MEGA RARE ORIGINAL LP offered up for auction: 1967 Jimi Hendrix album "Are You Experienced?" the rarest mono album by Jimi Hendrix! HIGH BOOK VALUE!! Not much calling for MONO records in 1967 which makes this record a hard to find RELIC, a collector's item even though it is pretty rough! Released on Reprise R-6261, this is the original first pressing with 1A/1F in the deadwax. Features the 3 tone, green, pink and yellow MONO labels. The record rates FAIR/GOOD at best, has sleevewear & numerous light marks on both sides. This record has been PLAY TESTED, Side 1 plays from start to finish without jumps or skips, but there are several jumps on side two in song #1 (only). The balance of this records plays good, with some surface noise throughout.Still has some enjoyment value! A way different sound than the more common stereo version! The cover rates VG/VG+, is clean and bright, no signatures, no drill holes or cut marks, the seams have been neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape (see photos). Includes the original Reprise inner sleeve! This is a cool survivor! There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
