Description
Hi All, the thinning out of my collection continues and I’ve sorted out a few choice cuts in the collection for your consideration as well as a few ‘vinyl staples’ for the discerning new entrant to vinyl collecting. OK for your consideration we have:
Title: OGDENS by THE SMALL FACES
Cat No: IMSP 012 – stereo
Issue: Original 1968 on the PINK IMMEDIATE Label
Vinyl Condition visual: The vinyl grades as VG; the vinyl has retained some of its gloss and sheen. The disc is very clean but has a few light scratches and a few handling marks on both sides all being commensurate with age and grade. Nothing too serious and all in all, it’s a strong VG.
Vinyl Condition Playback: The vinyl grades as VG; audible static at the run-in but this fades to mild static clicks/pops which is sporadic throughout the playback with the occasional (one possibly two) more audible clicks but nothing too drastic and all commensurate with grade. Aside from this, the playback is VG and nearly VG+. The vinyl sits perfectly flat on the turntable.
Label Condition: VG; as you can see in the pics very light spindle marks and hardly any notable blemishes, no major rips or damage at all to the labels. All text is clean and legible.
Cover Front: The front cover Grades as VG+; THIS IS VERY DELICATE SLEEVE – the unlaminated front is clean and undamaged and has retained its shape very well. The central image is clear and apart from the obvious rubbing to such a cover there are no notable creases/splits whatsoever to report. The cover folds-out fine and it is in tact at all points. Given the delicate nature of this sleeve it is overall a strong VG if not better.
Cover Back: VG+; the unlaminated back is in VG condition being clean and damage free. Despite being unlaminated the wear at the rear is minimal and all commensurate with age and grade.
Inserts/Other: Lovely fold-out cover with fab colours and pics. They just don’t make covers like this anymore.
Summary: This is a fab album and quite elusive – when did you last see one in reasonable condition? I’ve owned and cherished this for many years now and stuff like this is already getting more difficult to find. So here’s your chance to grab a fab copy of a fab album. With regard to postage, all records will be posted in 12” Defenda- corrugated mailers so they should arrive as they left me. Finally, I offer a no-nonsense refund if you’re not delighted with your purchase, less postage of course, which hopefully provides you with sufficient confidence to take a shot, and if you do, good luck.
