What you are bidding on is a really tough to find R&B doo-wop classic of OTIS WILLIAMS AND HIS CHARMS: THIS IS OTIS WILLIAMS. This is on the deep groove KING RECORDS. First pressing and really really beautiful shape. Stunning. Killer doo-wop from 1959.
A Cincinnati vocal group, Otis Williams & the Charms landed a number-one R&B hit for almost ten weeks in 1954 with "Hearts of Stone," a song that remains among the most enduring doo wop anthems. Otis Williams, Richard Parker, Donald Peak, Joe Penn, and Rolland Bradley first recorded for Rockin' in 1953, but did "Hearts of Stone" for Deluxe the next year. They had several other hits, among them "Ling, Ting, Tong," "Two Hearts," "Ivory Tower," and "United," all of which made the Top Ten on the R&B charts between 1955 and 1957. Their songs were issued as Otis Williams & His Charms in 1956 and 1957.

FACTORY SEALED: These lps are a good as you can get, bear in mind it may have a piece of dust on it. It may have a tiny ding on the corner, but what do you expect for records that are 30-40 years old. They are well worth having and probably have less damage on them than you do. (I'm only saying this for people who expect these things to be totally flaw free after 30 years, if you are that critical DON'T BID, I REPEAT DON'T BID!). 99.9% of you will be well happy with them.

VG+ This is not mint, there may be a few scuffs, tiny seam splits, mabe a piece of tape, but the cover still looks good considering it's age.
VG: This will be very noticeable larger seam splits, repairs, somewhat worn, but still ok.
