OTTILIE PATTERSON - 3000 YEARS WITH OTTILIE
A truly excellent condition copy of this late 60's gem with gleaming little played and barely marked vinyl and superb stereo sound quality throughout
Gleaming excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl (some would grade as "near mint" I am sure) - flat and displaying a beautiful jet black sheen. It is only with very close inspection under a bright light that just a couple of extremely faint paper scuff/grazes can be can be identified : obviously nothing feelable, purely superficial and certainly nothing to impinge upon the wonderful start-to-finish stereo audio quality. Excellent plus (EX+) condition labels : again, hard to fault and am unable to identyify even the usual one or two very faint spindle trails. Pristine. Clearly this is a record that has been little played...just a few times at most. Excellent (EX) condition MacNeill Press unlaminated outer sleeve. Firm edges with just a few occasional and very light scuff marks on the bottom edge. The spine is similarly firm with a couple of tiny nicks and a little very mild edge scuffing towards the middle partially obscuring, just the very top of some of the text lettering which otherwise remains nicely intact and all legible. Each corner remains a nicely defined right angle with a little mild rubbing on each and the reverse side is excellent with just a couple of small and very minor storage/handling surface marks and the merest hint of some very mild age discolouration towards the spine edge. The only other blemishes are a very mild hint of ring wear towards the front-side bottom edge and a mark at the top left corner on the front side where presumably a sticker has been rather clumsily removed. There is no cardboard creasing, the opening edges remain firm with no fraying, and all art work, colours, text and photos remain in great condition. Do take a close look at my photos...bearing in mind that this outer sleeve is reknown for it's fragility the condition of this copy remains truly impressive and eminently presentable - hard to believe that it is 57 years old! Superb near mint (NM)) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, distortion, clicks, interference, or background crackle. Crystal clear stereo sound quality throughout with great tone and each and every track remaining a great listen...such an underrated and, at the time of it's original release, "under the radar" album. There is complete silence on both sides during the run-in's which is always a sure sign that the record has been well looked after and only sparingly played. Comes with poly-lined plain white inner sleeve. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A very rare and highly sought after 1969 UK 1st press folk/blues/jazz (hard to categorise!) gem - lovely outer and the wonderful crystal clear stereo sound quality is a true highlight.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
