Description

THE OUTCASTS-45-“You Do Me Wrong” b/w “Love Eternal”-Studio City Records #1040-KillerKool 1966 Minneapolis Minnesota Garage-Punk. A side you may know from assorted comps, FROZEN FEW etc…if not, KillerKool guitar dominated garage-punk, sort of sideways ‘Louie Louie’ chord progression with actually on-key lead vocal and backups, with a senseless on-string lead guitar break. Dynamite stuff. Lots of reverb abound. B side is of the same caliber, but on the ballad side-actually really cool and not boring or too wimpy like a lot of teen ballads, with cool Beatlesque vocals and a primitive guitar throughout.



Condition: Record is almost but not quite VG-, not G+ either, closer to VG-; some light wear, paper scuffs/surface scuffs visible in certain light angles; NOTE: outer edge of deadwax has a ‘nick’ or a ‘bubble’ in the pressing-right on outer edge so does not come close to the grooves, about the size of a pinhead, on both sides, same place, quite visible. Does NOT affect play. Plays fantastic and incredibly clean.
Label clean both sides; some slight wear
